About
I’m Jason Causey, and I’m an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. I do research in the areas of Biomedical Informatics, Bioinformatics, and Machine Learning. I teach computer science theory, programming, and data science courses. I also enjoy talking about almost anything tech-related.
When I’m not doing research or preparing for class you can find me outside in the woods, floating down a river, or hacking together code for some side project. I get excited about cooking and eating good food, beer, tea, and bourbon. I dabble in the gardening thing, but mostly I stick to growing the hottest of the hottest chile peppers.
